Camden Youth Awards 2020 - don’t miss out on your chance to nominate a local young hero

Do you know a young person who has made a difference in their community or achieved something amazing? Then now is your chance to nominate them in the Camden Youth Awards 2020 and give them the recognition they deserve.

The Camden Youth Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the borough’s amazing young people as well as youth projects and organisations that work hard to support them.

There are ten individual categories to nominate in, including ‘Young Carer’ and ‘Green Champion’, alongside four best practice categories for youth organisations that have changed the lives of young people in Camden.

Nominations for the annual awards are open until Friday 7 February (note: deadline extended by one week) with the ceremony held at Camden House in Camden Market on 17 March.

The Camden Youth Awards are not only a fantastic opportunity to bring communities together and shine a spotlight on Camden’s most inspiring teenagers, but to showcase the brilliant youth services and projects happening across the borough that work hard every day to help our young people.

We really want to recognise some of the exceptional young people in Camden but we need your nominations to do that, so please make sure you nominate by the end of the month.
Councillor Abdul Hai, Cabinet Member for Young People and Cohesion

Nominations can come from young people, professionals, parents, guardians, carers and residents for people aged 13 to 19 (up to 25 with learning difficulties or disabilities) who live, work or study in Camden or attend a Camden youth project or service.
