What’s happening in Somers Town? Find out more and give your views

If you live or work in Somers Town or are just interested in what’s happening in the area, you can find out about the Council’s proposals at a Development Management Forum which is part of the planning process. This will take place on:

Date: Wednesday 12 August

Time: 7pm to 9pm

Place: The Theatre, Regent High School, Chalton Street, NW1 1RX

Camden as developer will present the redevelopment proposals for Central Somers Town which include:

  • A new building for Edith Neville primary school
  • A new building for St Aloysius nursery
  • New community facilities including community play (Plot 10)
  • New housing, including affordable homes
  • Improved landscaped park and green open spaces

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting. The purpose is to discuss the proposals before a planning application is made and to give local people the opportunity to ask questions and give their views on the proposals as they stand at this stage.

Once a planning application is submitted the Council as the local planning authority will publicise and consult on the application in the normal way.
