Statement on the distribution of the Camden Magazine

The spring issue of the Camden Magazine was mistakenly delivered - by a distribution contractor - to addresses in the West Hampstead area at the same time as a planning update from Landsec on their O2 Centre Masterplan.

A spokesperson for Camden council said:

“The Camden Magazine is produced by Camden Council and we pay Lbox Communications, our contracted distribution company, to deliver the magazine, and it alone, to our residents. We have previously been explicitly clear with LBox Communications that our Magazine should not be delivered alongside any other publications or documents.

“The latest issue of the magazine was delivered to around 3000 addresses in the vicinity of West Hampstead Station at the same time as the O2 Centre Masterplan Proposals – a planning update produced by Landsec. This was a mistake by the distribution company for which we have received an apology.  LBox Communications have also agreed to make a donation to a local food bank charity. We have been assured that it will not happen again.”
