Starting school in Camden - apply before 15 January
An amazing 100% of pupils in Camden attend primary schools rated good or outstanding by Ofsted.
Our primary pupils also perform consistently above the national average in test results for 11-year-olds and offer a huge range of extracurricular activities - with access to world-class venues and institutions, ranging from the British Museum to the Francis Crick Institute, as well as links to global companies and opportunities to take part in a range of sports at all levels.
Applications for children to start in reception classes next year are now open – you need to apply before 15 January 2018.
We are proud of the high standards of teaching, rich curriculum and exceptional range of extracurricular activities offered by Camden’s primary schools, including visits to some of the best museums and cultural institutions in the world on our doorstep.
I would urge parents who have not yet applied for a reception place for their child to consider choosing a Camden school and to apply before 15 January.
You can choose up to six preferred schools on your form, which can be either in Camden or outside the borough. Many Camden schools are very popular, so it is best to use all six preferences.
