Moving on to secondary school in Camden
Parents and carers who are applying for Year 7 places can visit Camden secondary schools at their open events this term.
These open events are a great way for parents and carers to find out more about the borough’s ten state secondary schools for themselves before applying.
Local group Meet the Parents also holds its own independent forums at local primary schools, where families can ‘meet the parents’ and students who attend their local secondary schools.

Our secondary schools are high achieving and ambitious for all students, offering a tremendous range of opportunities to help prepare young people for happy and successful futures. Your child will be due to start secondary school in September 2025 if they were born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014.
The next round of Year 7 applications for 2025 entry opened on 1 September 2024. You need to apply before the deadline of 31 October 2024.
