Moving on to secondary school in Camden – open events for parents 2023

Updated: 25 September 2023

Parents and carers can find out more about Camden secondary schools and how to apply at school open events this term.

These are a great way for parents and carers to find out more about the schools for themselves before applying. You can download a poster with all the dates and times here. Please note: the open morning that was scheduled by Parliament Hill School on Wednesday 4 October has been moved to Thursday 12 October, due to rail / tube strikes - more details here.

Local group Meet the Parents also holds its own independent forums at local primary schools, where families can ‘meet the parents’ and students who attend their local secondary schools. Find out more about these events here.

You can also read about Camden secondary schools, what they have to offer your child, and the admissions process in our annual Secondary Schools in Camden guide for parents, which is now published on our website.

Councillor Marcus Boyland, Cabinet Member for Best Start for Children and Families

We’re proud of the quality of education, opportunities and support offered for students in Camden. Our secondary schools are high achieving and ambitious for all students, offering a tremendous range of opportunities to help prepare young people for happy and successful futures. I’d urge parents and carers to see for themselves what the borough’s secondary schools have to offer by visiting the open events offered by our schools and Meet the Parents.
