Mapping the future for special needs

Swiss Cottage School, one of London’s largest special schools, is leading the way in helping families whose children have special needs or disabilities to get the future they want.

Roadmap for Life, held at the Avenue Road school from 9am to 5pm on 15 and 16 May, is set to be Camden’s biggest-ever conference on the future of special needs provision.

Parents and professionals will hear from leading speakers - including Tania Tirraoro from online forum SEN Jungle (like Mumsnet for special needs), who will share her experiences.

Roadmap for Life aims to help parents and carers think about planning their children’s futures through a series of talks and workshops, covering everything from supporting their child’s learning and the latest government reforms to how to talk about relationships, how their children can gain qualifications and life skills or find work and housing.
