Litter loather?

We’re running a Clean Camden community clean-up over the next couple of weeks, to give the borough a wash and brush-up so that it’s sparkly in time for the summer. Three of our teams will be out and about, giving people advice and information about:

  • litter
  • fly-tipping
  • smoking litter near tube and train stations
  • dog poo hot-spots.

Our teams will be also standing by to deal with your reports of fly-tipping, litter eyesores and dog poo hotspots, so please keep your eyes open and let us know of any problem rubbish in your part of the borough. If litter bugs you, and you’d like to do your bit, you can find out how to help us here.

We’re also organising two events. The first will be litter-picking, starting from the car park at the O2 centre on Finchley Road at 9am on Wednesday 13 July, and along the Black Path, Blackburn Road and Billy Fury Way. You’re welcome to join our group of volunteers on the day if you would like to. You’ll be able to see the results of our activities if you follow us on Twitter @camdentalking or Facebook/LBCamden.

If you can’t make it but would like to organise a litter-pick yourself, we can provide litter pickers and gloves. Visit our web page.

Our other event is specially for Camden residents who have dogs and want to get advice on training, free microchips and free dog poo bags. If you’re a dog owner or if you haven’t got a dog but want to talk to us about a dog problem, do come along. Find out more here.
