Latest round of applicants granted Camden’s Cultural Learning and Education Support Fund
Ten arts and culture organisations have received a share of funding to deliver free learning programmes for children and young people in the borough.
It’s the second round of funding granted from Camden’s Cultural Education and Learning Support fund, which was open for applications earlier this year.
Organisations including museums, galleries, theatres, and creative arts groups were invited to apply for up to £25,000 each for projects enabling children and young people to experience the arts in Camden.
The ten successful applicants received a share of over £100,000 for projects including youth theatre, fashion courses, summer dance activities, and writing groups.
We are delighted to award ten organisations with funding for their inspiring work. Each organisation provides brilliant opportunities for children and young people to get involved in arts and culture in Camden, and it’s fantastic that the grant will help them continue.
Everyone deserves an opportunity to get inspired and be creative. The aim of this funding is to get more children and young people involved in Camden’s vibrant culture, while encouraging their passions and wellbeing too. There will be a further round for more organisations to apply for a grant, so keep an eye out for this soon.

- Bloomsbury Festival was awarded £18,390 for the Springboard traineeship for young creatives in Camden
- Camden People’s Theatre successfully bid for £15,250 for Camden Youth Theatre
- English Folk Dance and Song Society received £6,630 for its Folk Unlimited Summer Course
- The Foundling Museum has been granted £9,650 for it’s Music Explorers programme
- Grassroots Arts Studios received £12,000 for its Sustainable Design and Advancing Careers in Fashion & Photography workshops

- Kiln Theatre was awarded £4,153 for its engagement with schools in Camden
- Lauderdale House successfully bid for £4,731 for its Young Research and Interpretation Collective
- October Gallery has been granted £12,000 for its Creative Youth Programme
- The Place was awarded £7,500 for their Get Camden Dancing events programme
- The Poetry Society received £14,830 for their Camden Young Writers scheme
