Join in with a summer of sport in Camden

Have you been inspired by the Olympic Games? Camden Council and its partners have plenty of opportunities to get involved with sport and exercise with a range of free and low-cost activities for children and young people over the summer holidays.

Camden has a full programme of sports activities to try out including boxing, orienteering, football, gymnastics and tennis. Talacre Sports Centre is offering ‘Girls Get Moving Monday's’, an opportunity for girls aged 8 to 14 years old to get active, make new friends, develop and learn new skills. If you have been inspired, are aged 16-19 and want to work in sport and physical activity - The sports education and training programme at Talacre Community Sports Centre in Kentish Town provides a unique programme for young people who have a desire to pursue careers in sport and physical activity. Former participants of this successful vocational programme have gone on to university courses, work in play, sports coaching, school Teaching Assistants in schools, youth work.
