It’s Real Nappy Week from 18 to 24 April

If you’re a parent or carer of a baby in Camden, you can claim £54-worth of free real nappies from North London Waste Authority (NLWA).

A baby might need up to 6,000 nappy changes from birth to potty – about a tonne of household waste that could end up in landfill needing anything up to 500 years to break down. That’s why NLWA offers the subsidy.

Real nappies are absorbent, fun, fashionable, easy to use and come in a variety of styles. You can put biodegradable flushable paper liners or washable cotton, silk or fleece liners inside them.
