Help to be healthy in January

Have you decided that 2015 is the year you finally beat your bad habits and get healthy? Need a little help?

We have teams out and about in the borough this January to give you a helping hand.

The Solutions 4 Health team will be visiting communities to provide free, easy to reach health services to residents.

The mobile clinic offers free health checks, with trained staff to give you advice and offer referrals to services that help you lead a healthier lifestyle.

Other services include weight loss, stopping smoking, drinking advice, exercise, keeping warm at home, healthy lungs and help for people who feel stressed, anxious or depressed.

The Smokefreelife team will also be out to give you helpful tips and guidance on how to quit smoking for good - you are four times more likely to stay smokefree with stop smoking medicines and face-to-face support.
