Have your say on the future of waste management in North London

What happens to your waste and recycling when it leaves your home or workplace? How can we ensure there are sufficient facilities to manage it?

These are some of the issues considered in the Draft North London Waste Plan (NLWP) which is now available for public consultation.

The NLWP sets out the planning framework for waste management in the London boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey, Islington and Waltham Forest up to 2032. It identifies sites and areas suitable for waste management use and sets out policies for determining waste planning applications.

The Draft Plan and supporting documents are available to view at www.nlwp.net or at all libraries in Camden.

You can find out more about the NLWP at a series of stakeholder consultation events and drop-in sessions taking place in September giving you the opportunity to comment on the draft policies and sites/area options.

For details of the stakeholder consultation events and drop in sessions visit www.nlwp.net. Comments on the NLWP can be submitted by email to [email protected] or online at www.nlwp.net. Comments must be received no later than 30 September 2015.
