Have your say on Camden’s new Climate Action Plan
Residents, businesses, and community groups are invited to share their views on Camden Council’s draft new Climate Action Plan for 2026-2030.
The draft plan sets out the council’s actions to tackle the climate crisis and continue creating a greener, healthier borough for all.
It builds on Camden’s record of climate leadership – from being the first UK borough to hold a Citizens’ Assembly on the climate crisis in 2019, through to driving carbon emissions down by over 64% across its offices, schools and leisure centres, and helping everyone in Camden to collectively cut borough-wide carbon emissions by 52% since 2005.
We’re taking bold action in Camden to help tackle the climate crisis. This plan is also about how we can keep household bills affordable, create jobs for young people, and make our streets safer and healthier for everyone.
Camden has a long-standing community commitment to tackling this issue, and we want everyone to have their say on how to continue our progress. Together, we can make sure our borough is climate-ready, healthy, and resilient.
The draft plan has been shaped with over 280 residents, as well as community groups and businesses who took part in workshops and neighbourhood discussions earlier this year.
