Get in the Olympic spirit at your local leisure centre – for free

As Olympians limber up in Rio, why not try getting active yourself for free at two leisure centres this Friday (5 August). Our family fun sessions mean you can try out a range of sports with the kids at Central YMCA and The Armoury leisure centres – and it’ll cost you nothing. It’s a fun and active free afternoon out.

Turn up at the YMCA between 2pm and 5pm for family fun and games, including activities for teens and a bouncy castle.

Contact The Armoury if you’d like your children to join in the kids’ classes at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm.

If you’re on a low income, you may also be entitled to three free day passes – ask staff for how to apply for our Give it a Go! passes. Centre staff can also tell you about their great deals and membership offers.
