This scholarship has given me the opportunity to prove to people and also myself what I'm capable of doing. The relief this scholarship has given me and my family is truly indescribable, after a year filled with a pandemic and lockdowns to family issues and my own mental health issues, I can truly say that this scholarship has saved me.

Being the first person in my family to attend and graduate university meant the world for my family. It gave them the peace of mind that their sacrifices and hard work had been able to help me get to where I wanted to be and that it had allowed me to become a proper role model to my younger brother.
