Early May (VE Day) bank holiday weekend opening hours

Contact Camden

Contact Camden will be closed on Friday 8 May 2020.

We have an out-of-hours telephone service 24 hours a day for emergencies: call 020 7974 4444.

If you have a question or concern related to coronavirus, call 020 7974 4444 (option 9) – the dedicated helpline is open 24 hours a day.

Visit our coronavirus webpages for the latest updates and support available.

You can use your Camden Account at any time to manage key services in one place with one log in. With your Camden Account you can:

  • Request a service or report a problem
  • Buy and renew parking permits
  • Pay bills
  • Apply for housing benefit
  • View your council tax bill and pay online
  • Report a missed bin collection.

Recycling and rubbish collections

Recycling and rubbish collection days remain the same over the bank holiday period. Collection times may change, so please put your bin or bag outside by 7am. If you live in a street with time-banded collections, put your recycling and rubbish out at the usual time. Make sure you follow the guidance on presenting your recycling and rubbish.

Parks

Parks and open spaces should be used for essential exercise only, once a day. If you are out exercising, always maintain a 2 metre distance from others and keep moving at all times to free up space.

If you have a garden, please make use of it. Parks and open spaces should not be used for sunbathing, picnics/barbeques, gatherings or sports – this will prevent others from using the space safely.

We have frontline teams out across the borough to make sure parks are being used responsibly and safe social distancing is being followed.

Libraries and leisure centres

In line with government guidance, libraries and leisure centres are closed until further notice. Find out more

You can still access our digital library, where you can find a range of books, comics, audio books, magazines and newspapers available to existing and new members.
