Coroner community meeting – Thursday 5 July

A recent Judicial Review found the Senior Coroner for Inner North London’s “cab rank” rule around the prioritisation of deaths to be illegal.

In response to the Judicial Review and the Chief Coroners revised guidance “Report of death to the Coroner: Decision making and expedited decisions” the Coroner has setup an engagement process, commencing with a community meeting to take place at 6pm on Thursday 5 July in the Council Chamber, Camden Town Hall, Judd Street.

During this meeting, the Coroner will set out her approach on how she will engage with the community to develop a new protocol, based on the Chief Coroner guidance and faith community input.

All interested members of the community are invited to attend.
