Christmas and New Year opening times 2015
Normal opening hours will be in operation over most of the festive period, with the exception of Friday 25 December to Monday 28 December (inclusive) and Friday 1 January when Contact Camden and most services will be closed.
Changes to services are listed below.
Contact Camden
Contact Camden – our customer services team – will be closed from 4pm on Thursday 24 December and Thursday 31 December. Essential services will continue as usual over Christmas and New Year. In an emergency, call 020 7974 4444 (24 hours a day).
You can use your Camden Account at any time to manage key services in one place with one log in. With your Camden Account you can:
- pay and view your council tax bill
- purchase resident parking permits and eVisitor parking permits
- report a housing repair
- view rent statements
- view housing benefit claims and payments
- pay and view leaseholder service charges
- check bin collection days, report missed collections and order recycling equipment.
Rubbish and recycling collections
Collection services will remain the same unless your normal collection day falls on one of the dates listed below. If you don't know what day your bins are normally collected you can find out here.

Leisure and sports centres
Reduced opening hours will be in operation across all Camden leisure centres from Tuesday 22 December to Saturday 2 January. Leisure centres will additionally be closed on Monday 21 December due to Better’s annual staff training day. Please see timetable below for the Christmas opening hours of your local leisure centre.

Parking
Normal parking enforcement will be in operation on Thursday 24, Sunday 27 and Thursday 31 December.
Bank holiday parking enforcement will be in operation on:

Libraries
Highgate Library will close at 1pm on Thursday 24 December and re-open on Monday 4 January.

All Camden libraries will return to usual opening times on Saturday 2 January 2016, apart from Highgate which will re-open on Monday 4 January.
