Changes to the Members’ Code of Conduct

Camden’s councillors have agreed to adopt a revised Members’ Code of Conduct, the document which sets out the conduct expected of councillors when acting in their official capacity.

Every council is required to promote and maintain high standards of conduct by Members and to have an appropriate Code of Conduct in place. Having had the same Code of Conduct in place since 2012, Camden’s Standards Committee considered that it was now an appropriate time to review the Code and recommended some small changes to clarify and update the existing rules, which were agreed by all councillors at full Council on 25 January.
