Camden set to march in this year’s Pride
This month is internationally recognised as Pride Month, which celebrates LGBTQI+ people, communities and history around the world and campaigns for equal rights for everyone.
To celebrate Pride Month, Camden Council is set to march proudly in solidarity with its LGBTQI+ community at London Pride on Saturday 1 July, demonstrating its long history of LGBTQI+ protest and activism.

Pride Month gives us the opportunity to celebrate all our LGBTQI+ residents and community groups, and the immense contributions they make to Camden and beyond. We also see this as a chance to renew our commitment to pushing for equal rights for everyone, however they identify or whatever their sexuality.
Camden is no place for hate, and we stand with our communities against homophobia and transphobia this month and every month. We are also proud to partner with Forum+ who are running a series of amazing events to celebrate Pride month, from a walk and picnic in Regent’s Park to an LGBTQ+ Kayaking session along the canal. I look forward to joining our communities to march in London Pride next month, and I’d like to wish everybody a very happy Pride.
Along with marching in Pride, there are a number of events taking place throughout the month in Camden which are open to all, including a walk through Regent’s Park and enjoying a picnic to celebrate Pride organised by forum+. Find out more at forum+ Events | Eventbrite
