Camden responds to fatal stabbing in Abbey Road area

We are extremely saddened about the serious incident that took place near Abbey Road on Friday, 29 December 2023, which involved a man being fatally stabbed. All our thoughts are with those affected, including the victim, their family and friends and the wider community.

We understand how distressing events like this can be and we are here to help. Our Community Presence Officers and the Police are in the area to provide support to all members of the community, including local businesses, and we will continue to liaise with the Neighbourhood Police teams over the coming days.

Councillor Pat Callaghan, Acting Leader of Camden Council and Cabinet Member for Community Safety and Kilburn ward councillors joined the Council's Community Safety team on a visit to Abbey Estate on Sunday, 31st December 2023. Reassurance work continues.
