Camden launches the SEND Local Offer Website
Parents and carers whose children have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and young people with SEND, up to age 25, joined the launch of the refreshed SEND Local Offer website.
The event at the Crowndale Centre, in Camden, on Monday (25 November) was a chance for families to meet the services in Camden which support children and families with SEND.
Parents, carers and young people were also able to find out about local community activities for children and young people with SEND, as well as trying out the new SEND Local Offer website.
There was a play corner for under 5s and free refreshments, including coffee from Honest Grind.
From early years to adulthood, we want all Camden children and young people with special educational needs and / or disabilities to reach their full potential and succeed in life.
Despite the funding challenges we face nationally for SEND, the Council and our partners are working hard to improve services, support and activities, as well as make them more visible and accessible.
This enhanced and well-designed SEND Local Offer website will help parents, carers and young people to find the local information and support they need.
