Camden launches online directory to help residents access support from the local voluntary sector (VCS)

With so many Camden residents self-isolating due to COVID-19, we have launched an online directory to help residents find a local VCS organisation who can help them with everyday tasks they’re struggling to do themselves.

From walking the dog to picking up a prescription, if a resident needs help with anything, they just needs to go onto the directory, say what they need a helping hand with and put in their postcode. From there, information and contact details for the most relevant organisations will pop up.

In Camden, our voluntary and community organisations are there for our residents week in and week out. At this time of emergency they are stepping up in extraordinary ways to support our community and make sure no-one has to face this crisis alone. I would like to thank all the voluntary and community organisations, faith groups and tenant and resident associations who are playing a vital role in responding to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Cllr Georgia Gould, Leader of the Council
