Camden in Bloom 2022 is now open for entries

Camden in Bloom, the council’s popular gardening competition, is now open for entries.

Councillor Adam Harrison, Cabinet member for a Sustainable Camden

“Camden in Bloom is a well-established and fantastic competition which brings together residents, businesses and communities to celebrate the borough’s best outdoor spaces.

“The competition aims to celebrate the best gardens in the borough and encourage residents, businesses and community groups to create an even greener and more sustainable place to live.

“I would encourage everyone to get creative, enter the competition and share their photos with us.”

There are four separate categories this year:

  •  Best community garden

  • Best mini garden. This could be a front garden, balcony or window box
  • Camden in bloom photo competition

The winners of the first three categories will be chosen by the council judges. All you need to do to enter is send your photos by email to: [email protected]

The brand-new Camden in bloom photo competition is open to any resident to enter via Facebook, Instagram and twitter using the #CamdenInBloomPhotoComp, with the winner being voted on by the public via twitter.

This could be of your own garden or any park or green space in Camden. A top 10 of images will be shortlisted to be voted on.

The competition is now open and will run until 31 August with the winners being announced at the end of September.

Kindly sponsored by Camden Garden Centre and Alara, the winner of each category would receive a gift hamper, along with a £40 Camden Garden Centre voucher. Second and third placed entrants will receive a £20 or £10 voucher prize.
