Break your own records this summer

This year’s Summer Reading Challenge launches on Saturday 18 July with the theme of Record Breakers.

Across the summer, children will be encouraged to achieve their personal best with their reading. They can choose any book from their local library, including from a special Record Breakers themed book list, and two books borrowed per visit will count towards the Challenge of the six or more books to be read over the summer. Rewards, including stickers, will be provided along the way, along with a certificate and medal when the Challenge is complete.

The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children to read more and will run for six weeks until Saturday 29 August. Designed for every level of reader, there is also a mini-challenge for younger children. So pop in to any Camden library to sign up for the challenge and pick up a free starter pack.
