Baddiel and Banks evening a roaring success

David Baddiel and Morwenna Banks delighted a sold-out Lauderdale House at the final fundraising event of the Mayoral year on Friday (26 April 2019).

The pair reflected on their lives and careers, covering their exploits in comedy, writing, film-making, animation and children’s books.

The event raised £1,500 for the Camden Music Trust - meaning Mayor Jenny Headlam-Wells has now helped raise over £83,000 for her chosen charity since last May.

Mayor of Camden, Councillor Jenny Headlam-Wells, said: "Thanks to Morwenna and David for generously giving their time to support my charity and providing such an enjoyable and fun evening."

The Camden Music Trust supports the Camden Music Service by providing musical tuition, instruments and the opportunity to join music groups - to enable all Camden children to have access to music making, regardless of family income or disability.
