August 2017 bank holiday opening hours

Some of our services will be operating different opening hours over the August bank holiday on Monday 28 August 2017.

Contact Camden

Contact Camden will be closed on the August Bank Holiday, Monday 28 August.

There is an out-of-hours telephone service in operation 24 hours a day for emergencies, phone 020 7974 4444. Normal business will resume on Tuesday 29 August, from 8am to 6pm.

Recycling and rubbish

Recycling and rubbish collections will not be affected by the bank holiday and will be on your usual day.

Parking

There’ll be bank holiday parking enforcement on Monday 28 August.

Libraries

All Camden libraries will be closed on Monday 28 August, reopening on Tuesday 29 August.

Our online digital library, where you can view your library account, renew your items, borrow an e-book and more, will be operating as normal.

Leisure and sports centres

Centres will be open at the following times on 28 August:

Swiss Cottage from 7am to 7pm

Pancras Square from 8am to 6pm

The Oasis from 9am to 4pm

Kentish Town from 8am to 6pm

Talacre from 10am to 4pm

Parks

Parks and open spaces will be open as usual on Monday 28 August.

Cantelowes Skatepark will close at the park closing time, 8pm, on Saturday 26 to Monday 28 August.
