Apply to the Youth Safety Fund
Applications for funding to support projects aimed at preventing youth violence are open from Monday 18 February until Sunday 31 March.
Bids to the Youth Safety Fund must be made by partnerships of at least two organisations, which also must have a connection to Camden, and can include public sector bodies, schools, charities, voluntary and community organisations.
Local young people will be among those joining the panels to assess applications, which can be made for projects running for one or two years under two categories:
- Under £5,000 per year (£10,000 total)
- £5,000 to £25,000 per year (£50,000 total).
“
The fund will help us to act on the recommendations of our Youth Safety Taskforce, which called for a whole community approach to tackle youth violence. This is the first of two opportunities to apply to the Youth Safety Fund - local groups and organisations will have another chance to put forward their ideas to help reduce youth violence later this year or in early 2020.
