Apply to join our resident-led Fire Safety Advisory Panel

As part of our new approach to resident safety, we committed to setting up a new resident led Fire Safety Panel. The Panel will meet quarterly to discuss issues highlighted across the borough, making recommendations to Camden to facilitate effective fire prevention, preparedness, response and recovery.

We are now accepting applications to join the Panel, which will be made up from council tenants, leaseholders, councillors, council officers and representatives from the London Fire Brigade. If you are interested in applying for one of the four resident places available, please email [email protected] and describe in no more than 100 words why you would like to be on the Panel and what knowledge and experience you would bring to the role. We will be accepting applications until Friday 17 November.

We would like to thank all residents who contributed to our recent consultation around the Panel’s terms of reference. We have listened to your feedback and made a number of changes to the aims and parameters of the Panel. You can read the final terms of reference by downloading the attached document.
