Applications open for businesses to apply to Camden’s £2million Diversity Fund
Business owners from diverse backgrounds can now apply for an investment of up to £500,000 from Camden Community Wealth Fund’s resident-led £2million Diversity Fund.
The Camden Community Wealth Fund is part of Camden’s mission to support businesses to flourish, radically reduce inequalities for residents, and support local entrepreneurs who reflect the borough’s diverse communities.
Businesses have until 6 April 2026 to apply for flexible, repayable finance ranging from £20,000 to £500,000 if they make a positive impact in Camden in any of the following ways:
- Businesses in the creative industry – for example, music, fashion, visual arts or photography
- Businesses that support local people into employment – for example, apprenticeships, retraining or mentorship
- Local, community-focused and inclusive businesses – for example, providing culturally relevant spaces to communities or reducing isolation
Camden’s Diversity Panel of over 500 people will help to decide who receives the investment. The panel is made up of residents and entrepreneurs who have worked with the council to shape the Diversity Fund.
By involving residents in this way, the Fund is redefining who holds power in financial decision‑making and championing an investment model grounded in local knowledge and experience.

Through Camden Community Wealth Fund’s Diversity Fund, we want to help these businesses flourish to not only continue supporting our communities – but also create more opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds.
