Additional Restrictions Grants available to support the borough’s hospitality and leisure sector

Camden Council has launched an additional grant scheme worth £1,500,000 to help support the borough’s hospitality and leisure sector.

This fund is an extension of the Omicron Hospitality and Leisure Grant (OHLG) for those hospitality and leisure businesses who are excluded from the main scheme.

Eligible businesses can now apply for a one-off fixed grant payment of up to £3000.

We know businesses in Camden have been hit really hard by the pandemic and our teams have been tirelessly to ensure that businesses receive the urgent financial support they need. So far, we have redeployed staff to help pay out over £300m in grants and rates relief in Camden.

This new application window for the additional restrictions grant will be a lifeline to many businesses in Camden, so we are urging those that are eligible to apply by the deadline.

We are here to support all businesses and are committed to helping them come back stronger. If businesses need to get in touch or need more information, they can email us at businessgrants@camden.gov.uk.

Councillor Danny Beales, Cabinet Member for Investing in Communities, Culture and an Inclusive Economy

To qualify, businesses must fit into one of the following definitions under industry sectors:

  • Hospitality
  • Leisure
  • Accommodation

Please note this is not an additional grant for all Hospitality and Leisure businesses.

Businesses can check their eligibility for a grant, find out more and apply online.

The deadline for applications is 23:59pm on 16 February, with payments made before 31 March.
