Wiener Library Holocaust Memorial Day Event

To mark the week of Holocaust Memorial Day 2016, the Wiener Library will host a special evening to reflect on this year’s theme of ‘Don’t Stand By,’ on January 28 from 6pm – 8pm.

The Library will also display its new travelling exhibition focused on its unique collection of eyewitness accounts from the 1938 November Pogrom.

The evening’s speakers will include Mayor of Camden, Councillor Larraine Revah.

Selections from the Library’s collection of early eyewitness testimonies, which were recorded shortly after the November Pogrom and which form the basis of the new travelling exhibition, will be read aloud. Wiener Library staff will introduce the exhibition. A full programme, including details of other speakers, will be announced soon.

This event is free and open to all. Booking is required as space is limited. Please book using the online form on the Wiener Library website, or by calling 0207 636 7247.
