What’s happening in Somers Town? Have your say

We are currently consulting on the latest proposals for a major regeneration project called ‘Central Somers Town’. The project could see the area completely redesigned creating new open spaces, new community facilities, much needed new housing and crucially designing out historic community safety problems.

The plans include:

  • A new building for Edith Neville primary school
  • A new building for St Aloysius nursery
  • New community facilities including community play (Plot 10)
  • New housing, including affordable homes
  • Improved landscaped park and green open spaces

If you live, work in the area or are simply interested in the plans to improve this much loved part of the borough please take part in the consultation – we really want to hear your views. And please pass on details to anyone you know who would be interested in taking part, tell your neighbours and share on social media.

You can take part by:

  • Taking a look at the display at Somers Town Community Association, 150 Ossulston Street, NW1 3EE and leaving your comments (until 27 April).
  • Attending a drop-in session at Somers Town Community Association between 4-7pm on Tuesday 31 March.
  • Coming along to the market stall at Chalton Street market from 10am-3pm on Fridays:10, 17 and 24 April

Please return your comments by 27 April latest.
