Take part in the Camden Waste Challenge feedback event

The event will take place on Saturday 11 July 2015 from 10am to 12 noon at 5 Pancras Square, King's Cross, N1C 4AG.

In February this year we launched the ‘Camden Waste Challenge’. Camden residents and those with particular links to our local communities and an interest in waste, recycling and clean environments came together to help develop new ideas and solutions to reduce waste, increase recycling and reduce litter across the borough.

Alongside the waste challenge workshop, we ran a VoXup survey, had stalls at local libraries and events, worked with community researchers, put up posters and adverts and attended resident meetings to get as many ideas as possible to help Camden tackle its growing waste challenge and find innovative solutions.

This feedback event will present the outcomes of all the waste challenge engagement work alongside Camden Council’s ongoing projects.

We also want to continue to investigate what we can do together to meet Camden’s waste challenge. So come with your ideas about how we can work together to encourage each other to reduce waste, recycle more and keep Camden clean.

There will be time for networking and the Environment Services team will be there to discuss ideas and share their experience and thoughts on working with Camden’s communities to increase recycling and improve Camden’s environment.

Places are limited so please let us know you will be attending by replying to [email protected] or by calling 020 7974 2179 by Monday 6 July 2015.
