Spring Bank Holiday opening hours

Some of our services will be operating different opening hours over the Spring Bank Holiday on Monday 30 May.

Contact Camden

Contact Camden will be closed on the Spring Bank Holiday, Monday 30 May.

There is an out-of-hours telephone service in operation 24 hours a day for emergencies: 020 7974 4444. Normal business will resume on Tuesday 31 May from 8am to 6pm.

Rubbish and recycling

There will be no rubbish and recycling collection on Monday 30 May. Collections will take place one day later than usual for the rest of the week:

  • Monday 30 May moves to Tuesday 31 May
  • Tuesday 31 May moves to Wednesday 1 June
  • Wednesday 1 June moves to Thursday 2 June
  • Thursday 2 June moves to Friday 3 June
  • Friday 3 June moves to Saturday 4 June.

Parking

There’ll be bank holiday parking enforcement on Monday 30 May.

Libraries

All Camden libraries will be closed on Monday 30 May, reopening on Tuesday 31 May.

Our online digital library, where you can view your library account, renew your items, borrow an e-book and more, will be operating as normal.

Leisure and sports centres

Centres will operate the following opening hours on 30 May:

  • Swiss Cottage 7am to 7pm
  • Pancras Square 8am to 6pm
  • Oasis 9.30am to 4pm
  • Kentish Town 8am to 8pm
  • Talacre closed.

Parks and open spaces will be open as usual on Monday 30 May, with the exception of Cantelowes Skatepark, which will close at 9pm.
