Sheltered Housing Open Day

On Saturday 3 June, we are hosting an open day at Clyde Court and Monica Shaw Court, two of Camden’s sheltered housing schemes just minutes from Kings Cross. Sheltered housing is for those aged 65 and over, are retired and are looking for safe, secure and manageable accommodation that makes it possible to continue living independently, with some support.

The area itself is in the heart of one of the largest and most exciting areas of redevelopment in London, with new homes, shops, offices, galleries, bars, restaurants, schools and even a university. Add to that the location, the transport connections, canal-side setting and the rich and varied heritage, making Kings Cross unique, exciting and really quite special.

You will have the opportunity to view available properties at both developments, so why not join us to find out what life is like in a sheltered housing scheme. You will see the latest assistive technology available, talk to people living in the schemes and find out first-hand how they made the transition from their own home to the scheme, and you can meet the sheltered housing team, who will be there to talk about your specific needs or answer any questions you might have.

The event starts at 9.30am and will run through to 12.30pm, with everyone meeting at Clyde Court, where refreshments will be available:
