New alcohol support service

Are you worried about your own alcohol use or concerned about someone close to you? We can help.

Our new and improved alcohol service can provide support to anyone experiencing difficulty with alcohol use.

How we can help

You can visit the main service at 8-9 Early Mews, Arlington Road, Camden Town. Alternatively, a worker from the Integrated Camden Alcohol Service (iCAS) can meet with you at a venue convenient for you, such as your GP practice, hospital or local community centre. This means even more people will now be able to get help when and where they need it.

The worker from the service will discuss your needs with you and together develop a tailored recovery plan to help you progress towards your individual goals. Whether you have recently become concerned about your alcohol use, or you have been drinking for many years, iCAS can support you to make healthier choices and improve your lifestyle.

Family Alcohol Service

Support is also available for those affected by someone else’s alcohol use, such as that of a family member, relative or a friend. The Family Alcohol Service takes a family based approach to recovery, working with children, young people and non-drinking family members around the impact of alcoholism, building resilience and helping them to adapt to changes in the family functioning.

The facts

Studies show that alcohol is linked to more than 60 different conditions including liver disease, cancer, osteoporosis and a range of mental health issues.

You can work out how risky your drinking habits are by visiting dontbottleitup.org.uk to complete a quick and simple online test.
