Meet our apprenticeships service during National Apprenticeships Week

Next week, 14 to 18 March, we’ll be celebrating National Apprenticeships Week in Camden with a range of events and activities.

An apprenticeship is a great way to start your career, and we offer opportunities in a huge range of areas, including business administration, IT, construction and trades. Our apprenticeships lead to recognised qualifications such as NVQ levels 2, 3 and 4 and provide an essential professional grounding. Come along to an event and find out more.

  • On Monday 14, there’s a Tech Up Nation assessment centre from 2 to 4.30pm for anyone interested in IT Apprenticeships. There is also an Exploring Apprenticeships event from 5 to 6.30pm, where you can test your skills and perhaps win some great prizes. Both take place at 5 Pancras Square, London N1C 4AG and places are limited so please call 020 7974 6474 to book.
  • On Tuesday 15, we’re holding an apprenticeships information session for job hunters at the Jobcentre Plus in Kentish Town from 2 to 3pm. If you’re aged 16 to 24 and planning your next career move, please come along and see what we can offer.
  • On Wednesday, King’s Cross Construction Skills Centre, which is part of our apprenticeships service, will be having an open day for anyone who’s interested in working in construction. Come along to get information about apprenticeships and careers including plumbing, plastering, groundwork, electrical, carpentry and bricklaying. We’ll also be at the open day at Westminster Kingsway College from 12 noon to 2pm and running a job coaching session at Somers Town Job Hub from 3 to 5pm.
  • On Thursday 17 we’re at Peabody Apprenticeship Fair – a careers fair – from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
