Mayor's Christmas appeal: more than 360 gifts donated for residents in need

Hundreds of families who would not otherwise receive a Christmas gift this year will have a happier Christmas thanks to your generous donations to the Mayor’s Christmas appeal.

More than 360 gifts of new toys, clothes, toiletries and gift vouchers have been kindly bought and donated over the last month and will be shared out by our family services and social work teams in the lead-up to Christmas.

Mayor of Camden, Councillor Jenny Headlam-Wells, said: “I’m so pleased so many residents and schools and businesses have kindly given gifts for disadvantaged children and young people in Camden.

“Every child deserves to have a special Christmas and these gifts will make a huge difference to those who receive them. Thank you to everyone who has taken part.”
