Leader's Question Time

The Leader of the Council, Councillor Georgia Gould, will host the first Leader's Question Time on Thursday 13 December, from 6 to 8pm, at Netley Primary School.

Residents, local organisations, community leaders and businesses are invited to meet Cllr Gould to discuss the challenges in Camden, as well as the opportunities to work together to improve the borough for everyone.

This is an opportunity to ask questions and discuss ideas on issues ranging from housing and rubbish collections, to education and adult social care. The event will be chaired by the Headteacher of Netley School, Bavaani Nanthabalan, and will be broadcast live.

Cllr Gould will also be answering questions live on the Council's twitter account @CamdenCouncil the following day, Friday 14 December, from 3 to 5pm. Please submit your questions using the hashtag #AskGeorgia

The event is part of the Council's response to feedback received during the development of Camden 2025, the borough's community vision. Residents spoke about the importance of being able to talk directly to their Councillors, and to be involved in local decisions that affect them.

Activity has so far included borough-wide citizens' assemblies, inviting the public and community organisations to lead council debate on issues like rough sleeping, community conversations about rising crime, and investing in community organisers.

The event is free to attend and tickets can be booked at the above link.
