Independent candidate Ronnie Carroll

We can confirm the sad news of the death of independent candidate Ronnie Carroll, who was standing as a prospective Parliamentary MP for the Hampstead and Kilburn ward.

Ronnie Carroll was standing as Carroll the Eurovisionary.

In line with Parliamentary Election rules, the election will still proceed as normal as Mr Carroll was not a candidate of a registered political party, and there is more than one other candidate contesting the election.
