HS2: London alliance: New year, new members

Glenda Jackson MP (Hampstead and Kilburn), John Cryer MP (Leyton and Wanstead), Dr Charles Tannock (MEP for London) and Dr Onkar Sahota (London Assembly Member for Ealing and Hillingdon), are the latest politicians to pledge their support to the Fair Deal for London Alliance.

Camden set up the alliance in November with the aim of securing fair and tailored compensation and mitigation for London residents and businesses set to be affected by HS2 – and this remains a priority in 2015.

You can find out more about HS2 impacts in your area and sign the petition to government for fair compensation and mitigation on our website.

Camden Council opposes plans for HS2 as currently proposed. If the government does go ahead with the scheme, Camden is committed to securing the best deal for our communities. Find out more here.
