HS2: Come to Camden’s House of Lords petitioning workshops

Camden residents, businesses and organisations have the opportunity to petition on the High Speed 2 (HS2) Bill once more this Spring – and it’s time to get prepared.

The HS2 Bill has now passed its Third Reading in the House of Commons and moved to the House of Lords.

The House of Lords petitioning period has now starteand will end at 5pm on Monday, 18 April 2016.

If you are ‘specially and directly affected’ by plans for HS2, you can petition the House of Lords. Come and find out more.

  • Wednesday 30 March 2016, 6-8pm, Netley Primary School, 74 Stanhope Street, London NW1 3EX.
  • Tuesday 5 April 2016, 6-8pm, Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate Tenants Hall, Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate, Rowley Way, London NW8 0SW.

6-6.45pm: Talks about the petitioning process from Parliamentary Agent Sharpe Pritchard and an update from Camden Council on the development of the assurances given to us by HS2 Ltd.
6.45pm-8pm: Speak to council officers about the petitioning process and pick up useful support materials.
