Helping to keep Camden clean

Help us to keep Camden clean by organising or taking part in a clean-up event for spring

Thank you for working with us to crackdown on littering, dog fouling and fly-tipping and keeping Camden clean. You can continue to help us keep Camden clean by organising or taking part in a community clean-up.

Last week we held a litter pick walk from Kilburn Grange to Frognal Overground station. Council officers and residents picked up litter and sprayed dog poo pink, to embarrass pet owners who hadn’t cleaned up. In total, 72kg of litter was collected - which is about the same weight as a washing machine.

We are looking for volunteers to organise community clean-up events across the borough. Working together we can keep Camden clean.

We can provide litter pickers, gloves and posters to publicise your event. If you fancy drawing attention to dog fouling on the streets of the borough, why not spray it fluorescent pink? Cans of pink chalk spray are available by emailing [email protected]
