Good with a bat?
The newly reopened Alexandra Road Park has something for everyone:
- If cricket’s your thing, why not go along to Alexandra Road Park and join the community cricket game there? It meets every Friday at 3pm.
- If bats with wings are more your style, you might be interested in the TCV green gym sessions.
- Maybe you’d like to tone up a bit? There are sessions on Saturdays that you can join.
- There are also sessions specifically designed for new mums, so if you have a baby aged 0 to 2 years, why not come along?
All these activities are free.
Alexandra Road Park has just reopened after being restored with support from the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Big Lottery Fund. If you live in the Kilburn or Swiss Cottage area – or even if you don’t – please pay a visit.
Getting there
The park’s in the middle of the Alexandra and Ainsworth estate, a few minutes’ walk from South Hampstead London Overground station and about 10 minutes’ walk from Swiss Cottage tube.
