Easter holiday events in Camden

There are lots of exciting events and activities for all the family in Camden this Easter.

Join in the holiday fun with an Easter Weekend Special at Kentish Town City Farm. On Saturday 25 March there will be pony rides at the farm from 1.30pm for ages four and up, costing £4 per ride, and on Sunday 26 March you can make and decorate your own Easter egg day, which costs £1 per person. On Easter Monday, 28 March, take part in an Easter Treasure Hunt for £2 per child – drop in anytime between 11am and 3pm.

Board the Easter Express train at King’s Cross on Saturday 26 March for a day of free family fun including Easter bunnies, egg decorating and, of course, an egg hunt. The Easter Express will run from 10am to 4pm and there’s no need to book. While you’re there, why not try the Easter Treasure Hunt? Follow the trail and solve the clues any day from 24 March to 2 April.

If you want to walk off those Easter eggs, take a free walking tour which explores the historical area of Bloomsbury. There’s no need to book, just meet at the front steps of The Goodenough Club at 11am on Saturday 26 March. The nearest underground tube station is Russell Square and the walk will take about an hour.

Encourage the kids to get active by joining one of our Play schemes. Run by community and voluntary organisations, they offer a range of holiday activities for children and young people aged four to 13, including arts and crafts, adventure playgrounds, indoor and outside sports.

Come along for the Easter celebration in Kilburn Grange Park on Sunday 27 March at 12 to 3pm. There will be an Easter bonnet and costume parade, lucky dip, tombola, refreshment stalls and a traditional Easter egg hunt for children aged one to 11eleven. Or if you’d prefer a relaxing afternoon of poetry and spoken word, head to Keats House at 2pm. Poets Rebecca Goss and Deanna Rodger will be performing and there will be open mic performances. The event is free, but booking is recommended.
