Decision time?

If you've just finished school or sixth form college, and you're wondering what to do next, maybe we can help.

Camden Apprenticeships has a range of opportunities for young people who want to earn while they learn and get a qualification that will provide a good basis for their career.

A good example is Alex Akushie, 24, who got his job through Camden Apprenticeships. We asked Alex why he chose an apprenticeship.

Alex said “I’m someone who learns things better if I’m actually doing practical things; sitting and studying isn’t really my style, which is why an apprenticeship is perfect. You learn things and put them into practice almost instantly.”

"I applied for a level 3 in Facilities Management. Then I moved on to do a level 4 Certificate in Facilities Management: that covers everything you need to manage a building, such as building maintenance and support services."

To be eligible to apply for a Camden apprenticeship, you must be aged 16 to 24, and live in Camden, be a Camden care leaver or be a former Camden secondary school student.

We've got apprenticeships available in many different areas including IT, finance and business administration.
