Creativity in the spotlight for International Women's Day
Women in the arts, media and creative industries is the theme of Camden's event to celebrate International Women's Day on 8 March.
The Council has partnered with Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London to offer a free film-making course to women interested in the creative industries.
Ten local women aged 19 to 54 are currently producing a short film about barriers to working in this sector. The film, which explores hurdles the women may have encountered in working or trying to work in the arts, media or creative industries, will be shown at our IWD 2017 event.
The free event is taking place at Arlington House Conference Centre, 220 Arlington Road NW1 7HE, from 11am to 5pm on Wednesday, 8 March.
You can reserve your place on Eventbrite - places are limited so early booking is recommended. For group bookings, email IWD2017@camden.gov.uk
