Changes to Kilburn High Road

Brent and Camden Councils are working together to make Kilburn High Road a safer and more pleasant environment.

We’re holding two public meetings to ask local residents and businesses what you think of our proposals before we go out to consult on them from 11am to 3pm on 14 December at the Tricycle Theatre, 269 Kilburn High Road.

The proposals include a 20mph speed limit, decluttering pavements and making the pavements wider.

There’ll be narrower traffic lanes with loading bays for shops to make the high road a more pleasant place to shop and attract more customers. Pavements will be widened to help ease congestion on some sections of the road and provision for cyclists made on the road.

Everyone is welcome to the public meetings and there will be refreshments available. After the public meetings, we’ll be holding a consultation for six weeks.
